the transition for analogue terrestrial to digital terrestrial television
in many markets, the Venture team has worked with both broadcasters and mobile
operators to develop their Digital Switch Over (DSO) strategies. |

TVNZ to review its international sales strategy, to develop its DTT plans, to launch
Freeview and to select the appropriate compression technology for its terrestrial
offering, to review its digital switchover strategy and to develop regulatory submissions

For Free TV Australia, Venture Consulting analysed the level and structure of
licence fees of Free to Air broadcasters on a global basis and found that Australian broadcasters pay substantially higher
licence fees than their international peers.. As a resut of the report submitted by Free TV, with Venture Consulting’s input,
the Australian Government decided to offer license fee rebates worth circa A$230m over two years to the Free to Air
Industry. |

For 2degrees Mobile, Venture Consulting completed a medium term strategic review
identifying the optimal 2-4 year strategy for 2degrees and developed a detailed 10 year business plan and financial model.
This model mapped the business development and financial prospects for the next ten years in terms of revenues, costs, margins, capex and returns.
