The Venture consulting team has been helping Vector, one of New Zealand's largest
listed companies, broaden from its electricity distribution business & develop its presence in
the telecommunications market.
Since 2005 we have helped to develop the company's
telecommunications strategy and have worked with the Board to help them understand this 'new' market.
During this time, Vector has steadily expanded its telecommunications business and now has over 500km
of fibre deployed in Auckland, with a further 300km under construction.
We have helped Vector with numerous business strategy issues as they have expanded, including negotiating large customer
contracts and evaluating new business opportunities.

The Venture team has helped Vector
in presenting compelling business cases to gain the support of the City council and National
Government regarding the development of a FTTP network.
Following the 2009 launch of
the National Party's FTTP programme, Venture Consulting is helping Vector to develop its strategy,
build partnerships with other potential operators and suppliers, and prepare its submissions to
the Government.
Venture Consulting is committed to supporting Vector Communications on
a long term basis and over time looks forward to helping build one of New Zealand's
